Description: The clock body is partly made from solid walnut and walnut veneered oak. We constructed the clock in the same way craftsmen during the Biedermeier time period did it. We used a 1/16 walnut sawcut veneer and the entire piece has a handrubbed French Polish finish which gives this piece an elegant high-gloss look. The clock mechanic is an original from ~1840.
