Description: The whole chair is partly made from solid cherry and cherry veneered maple. We constructed the chair in the same way craftsmen during the Biedermeier time period did it. Built to last centuries. We used a 1/16 cherry sawcut veneer and the entire piece has a handrubbed French Polish finish which gives this piece an elegant high-gloss look. Other finish options are available as well if desired. Overall this piece is very well constructed and built to last for generations with the right care.
